• The Review •

Customer Service: 5/5!! FIVE stars really doesn’t justify the level of service we experienced! There really is SO much love that’s gone into this business, and it’s successfully reflected in its staff and food! From the moment we sat down, menus were being handed out, suggestions for coffee and drinks were given and one of the lovely gentlemen POURED our water for us – the complete FIVE star treatment! Super conscientious!  💯

Not to mention, how completely humbling it is to have one of the owners come interact and make jokes with ALL his patrons – literally doing happy laps around the cafe haha –  A true testament to their level of customer service (A special shout out and credit to Marcus – he’s been a major part of some great cafes like Chimichuri and Local MBassy – you can follow him on instagram @m.gorge – Marcus you’re a LEGEND! and could brighten anyone’s day!) – And thank you VERY much for allowing me to monopolise all your table centrepieces to capture the perfect photo, I owe you a bunch of flowers!

Vibe: Cozy, yet VERY creative! The architecture and design itself are amazing –  – they’ve utilised the space really well! To be honest, it feels like they’ve taken a piece of Alexandria’s industrial modern aura and merged it onto beach front property! With the addition of a transparent kitchen –  Great place for a chilled cup of coffee or brunch session – I LOVE it!

Location: South Sydney region. Directly opposite Sans Souci Beach – lovely fresh sea breeze, perfect location for those sunny days – If you’re venturing from Northern Sydney, it’s straight off the Eastern Distributor onto the Grande Parade.

Parking: LOTS of street parking and it’s FREE! There are specific “clearway” times on the cafe side of The Grande Parade, however, you can park opposite the cafe on the beach side – spaces are abundant during the week – or adjacent to the cafe is plenty of street parking.

NEXT VISIT? Would I recommend to a friend? : WITHOUT A DOUBT! I have nothing, but compliments for this cafe, the team and their menu! 100%! I’m so blessed to live locally to this recently opened hidden gem, it may be a journey for some, but it is DEFINITELY well worth it! You won’t be disappointed!

UPCOMING NEWS! I’ve been told a “NEW” menu is in the making for Autumn/Winter FOODIES! GET EXCITED and don’t forget to turn their Instagram “post notifications ON”! Please involve red velvet or taro, because those lattés are off-the-hook!
