‘Avocado Fruit Lounge’ Brighton Le Sands ’18

Every FIT FOODIE’s ideal brunching destination! It’s pretty, palatable and packed with HEALTHY high protein options!

Customer Service: The co-owners of this cafe are awesome! A LOT of fun to talk to and they have some great recommendations –  you can tell they know their menu well –  I have a tendency to order “green tea” by default, but was convinced to try their organic “Jane the queen”, which by the way is FANTASTIC! – there’s a scent of citrus orange that works wonders with their fresh produce menu! The menu itself features a hint of middle eastern cuisine partnered with a plethora of fruits and vegetables to bring a COLOURFUL and HEALTHY brunch to life! I will mention there’s an “order at the counter” policy –  so you order and pay for your meal first, the staff provide you with a table number and then they bring your order out to you. All in all, my brunch crew and I were very happy with the quality of service we received!

Vibe: GREAT Music and AWESOME interior – “hawaii beach vibe”.. it’s REFRESHING! There’s a mix of indoor and outdoor seating: indoors is pretty cosy! If it’s great weather outside you might as well sit outdoors, being so close to Brighton Le Sands beach, why not embrace the fresh sea breeze!

Location: South Sydney region. On Bay Street, just up from the Novotel – in close proximity to Brighton Le Sands Beach – lovely fresh sea breeze, perfect location for those sunny days or taking your brunch to go for a beach picnic – If you’re venturing from Northern Sydney, it’s straight off the Eastern Distributor onto the Grande Parade.

Parking: There is FREE metered street parking on Bay Street, “if” you’re lucky enough to find a spot. I’d suggest the Council car park, which is a very short walk to the cafe and is FREE unlimited parking all day (address: 1 The Boulevarde, Brighton-Le-Sands NSW 2216). It’s basically behind Eurobay, Bay Vista and Oliver Brown – Off The Grande Parade,  on the corner just before Bay Street if you’re coming from Sydney South.

NEXT VISIT? Would I recommend to a friend? : I’ll let my actions speak for this one –  It’s already my second visit THIS week! The first time round was a sporadic decision – to celebrate my brothers birthday – Of course, the one time I didn’t have the DSLR on hand would be the time I needed it most! Naturally, I had to come again with the brunch crew. Standard and quality were just as satisfying as the first time round – consistency is key!

As a “personal” recommendation, I am obsessed with the Minty Fresh – There’s something about mint and lime that you simply can’t go wrong with. Apologies it didn’t make it into the flatly photos! I couldn’t keep my hands off it during the photoshoot haha

They also have conveniently “extended” trading hours, opening each day at 6am with closing hours Monday to Friday: until 10pm and Saturday/Sunday: til midnight! (I’ll have to double check when the kitchen closes, as it’s not stated on their page – I shall ask next visit!).

EXCITING NEWS! I’m told BIG THINGS COMING for their NEW Autumn/Winter menu soon! According to my “source” they’ll be challenging themselves and pushing the boundaries! * Cameras OUT and Appetites OPEN! So, don’t forget to turn their Instagram “post notifications ON”
